Todd Nighswonger

Family Camp #2:
July 14-20

Todd grew up in Wyoming in a home committed to Christ, but it wasn’t until the spring of 1993, while attending college at Montana State University, that he understood the greatest message ever, the Gospel, that changed his life forever. Around the same time, he met his wife Lisa, and together they began to develop a heart for students. Todd soon began to pastor junior high, high school, and college students in Wyoming and California for over ten years, and continues to love speaking to them.
In 2002, Todd began to attend seminary at The Master’s Seminary. Just a few months later, Todd was asked to come on staff as the High School Pastor at Cornerstone Simi Valley. As he was finishing seminary, Todd was asked to shift roles on staff and served as the Executive Pastor. He did so for a few years, and when the founding pastor, Francis Chan, felt called to the San Francisco area, Todd was asked to become the Lead Pastor.
During their time at Cornerstone, Todd and Lisa began to develop a heart for orphan care. In 2005, they began to take foster kids into their home, and from that ministry they adopted four of those kids that they love and adore.
Todd’s heart for Cornerstone is to create a family of men and women who know God rightly, worship Him intimately, are transformed by Him fully, and are unleashed to join Him on His amazing mission.
