“My Clydehurst story began on a whim and a prayer in 2016, and over the last decade of my life, camp has quickly become a place that I call home. I’ve had the joy of serving in a variety of roles: two summers as a counselor, three as an Assistant Program Director, four as the Event Coordinator, and now I get the privilege to hold the title of Program Director. Each role has shaped me and given me a front-row seat to the incredible work God is doing here.

What I love most about camp is the lifelong relationships that grow out of it. God does such a cool work knitting hearts together when people unite around a shared mission: to be tangible expressions of His love. Pair that with unforgettable experiences, laughter, and a whole lot of fun, and it’s the perfect recipe for deep, lasting friendships.

There are far too many favorite camp traditions to choose from, but a few highlights include volleyball tournaments, early morning meetings by the fire with a cup of coffee, tubing down the river, and stargazing on clear Montana nights. One of the best camp snacks is popcorn, but an affogato made with Montana-made hard ice cream, 2 espresso shots and caramel sauce from our coffee shops is next-level good.

A fun fact most people don’t know: during college, I was an official (paid!) ice cream taste tester for Blue Bunny headquarters; arguably excellent job training for camp life.

If I weren’t working at camp, I’d be chasing one of many “dream jobs”: European travel guide, marine biologist for a large aquarium, world-wide food vlogger, or even hosting a show like The Amazing Race or Survivor. ”
