My connection to camp goes back a long way. I’ve been at Clydehurst for 15 years this time around, but my story here really started much earlier. As a kid, I spent eight summers at camp as a crewboy, counselor, and later a program director. Camp has been a constant thread throughout my life, shaping who I am and the relationships I value most.

If I had to name one thing that keeps me coming back year after year, it’s the people. Camp has a way of bringing together individuals from all walks of life and turning them into family, and that’s what makes this place so special to me.

Over the years, my favorite camp activities have shifted. When I was younger, I was all in on sports, especially volleyball and basketball, along with horseback riding, swimming, and hiking. These days, while I’m not quite at the “birdwatching” stage yet, I find the most joy in simply being with people and soaking in the natural beauty that surrounds camp.

Outside of Clydehurst, I love spending time with my family, traveling, enjoying sports, and listening to music. And if camp weren’t part of my life? I’d obviously be the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos.
