JOB TITLE:  Part time Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper

 

PURPOSE:    To provide high quality customer service and accounting as the Administrative Assistant in a Part Time assignment

 

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • General knowledge of office procedures and customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with accounting/bookkeeping systems required
  • Computer competence required
  • Applicant must be a follower of Jesus Christ and aligned with the Clydehurst Statement of Faith

 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • A pleasant, outgoing personality
  • Willingness to be a “team player”
  • A “self starter” with the ability to organize and prioritize work
  • The ability to do bookkeeping/accounting tasks
  • Proficient use of Quick Books, Excel, Word, and other computer programs

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet people who walk in or call
  • Work with the Executive Director and Treasurer in payroll, budgeting, invoice payment and other financial/bookkeeping tasks
  • Prepare materials for Executive Director and/or Associate Directors as required
  • Handle office needs i.e., copier, fax, supplies, computer, etc.

 

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

  • Enthusiasm for the work and ministry of Clydehurst
  • Continual awareness of customer service and client centered focus
