JOB TITLE: Part time Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper
PURPOSE: To provide high quality customer service and accounting as the Administrative Assistant in a Part Time assignment
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
- General knowledge of office procedures and customer service experience preferred
- Experience with accounting/bookkeeping systems required
- Computer competence required
- Applicant must be a follower of Jesus Christ and aligned with the Clydehurst Statement of Faith
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- A pleasant, outgoing personality
- Willingness to be a “team player”
- A “self starter” with the ability to organize and prioritize work
- The ability to do bookkeeping/accounting tasks
- Proficient use of Quick Books, Excel, Word, and other computer programs
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet people who walk in or call
- Work with the Executive Director and Treasurer in payroll, budgeting, invoice payment and other financial/bookkeeping tasks
- Prepare materials for Executive Director and/or Associate Directors as required
- Handle office needs i.e., copier, fax, supplies, computer, etc.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
- Enthusiasm for the work and ministry of Clydehurst
- Continual awareness of customer service and client centered focus
