FUNDRAISER 2018: Replace Flooring in Dining Hall

A $100 Donation or Pledge Gets You
An Alumni Exclusive Postmark Hoodie or Crew-neck Sweatshirt.

Some Important FAQS

  • You can give any amount, but you must give at least $100 to receive the exclusive sweatshirt

  • If you can’t afford the $100 all at once, that’s ok, just give the first $20 and when you’ve completed your $100 pledge, we will send you your sweatshirt.

  • Did your spouse work at camp? If so, you can get 2 sweatshirts for the minimum donation of $150. Pledges apply here as well.

  • If we receive more in-kind gifts and our fund-raising exceeds what we need for the flooring, we will use the remaining money first for a new dining hall deck and then for new shingles.

  • If you gave $100 or more on Giving Tuesday, you still qualify for this exclusive. Just email scottbrownson@clydehurst.com with your details.

  • Sweatshirts will arrive by the end of January

  • You don’t have to get a sweatshirt. If you want to donate less than $100 or maybe you want to come back and give more, just click the “I don’t want a sweatshirt” option.

About the Sweatshirt

This incredibly soft BELLA+CANVAS sweatshirt is 60% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, 40% poly. The postmark is marked on the date that Clydehurst was dedicated to the Lord, September 3rd, 1945. Postage was $0.03 in 1945 and the postmark includes McLeod and the Clydehurst zip code.

The Dining Hall Floor Information

This year’s fundraiser is for new flooring in the dining hall. The current floor is the original floor from when the dining hall was built nearly 30 years and is really worn out. When the dining hall was originally built, the idea was to have accordion doors to separate the end sections that have the “pink” carpet from the center section in the dining area. Obviously, it was never used that way. We will replace the entire floor space with vinyl laminate that is similar to what is in the new chapel.
