Imagine taking your family on vacation to the pristine Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness of Montana. But instead of chopping wood, setting up tents and planning and preparing meals, you move into a cabin of your own for a week and gather for home-cooked meals that are provided for you with no cleanup expected afterwards. A family hike to picturesque waterfalls could prove both breathtaking and educational. Riding horses or relaxing in a heated pool might add that extra vacation touch.

We work hard to provide you the ultimate vacation experience. Where mom never needs to worry about preparing a meal and dad can enjoy the great outdoors. Kids ought not to feel left out because Clydehurst runs a youth centered program where kids have fun and parents can have some time to themselves. If this sounds enticing to you, then make Clydehurst your family vacation destination.

Clydehurst rests in the rugged Boulder River Valley in the Gallatin National Forest surrounded by the pristine Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness. The green lawns stretch toward the beautiful Boulder River and are filled with activities like hikes, horseback riding, basketball, volleyball, and swimming. (Hikes and trail rides are permitted by the Gallatin National Forest Service.)

The scenery around camp is picture perfect and opportunities are provided to enjoy the scenic creation. You may choose to take a hike to the falls, take a trail ride on horseback, go fishing, or just sit and relax.

There is always plenty of excellent food and staff to help make meal times a pleasure for the entire family. You’ll enjoy our cookouts and steak fry, and as our guest, leave the cleanup and dishes to us.

You’ll look forward to chapel time, where we diligently search to find quality speakers with inspiring and fresh Bible teaching accompanied with great music and worship. Your children have their own chapel to attend, conducted by our well-trained college age staff, with lots of singing, drama, puppets, and great Bible stories.

Our program is set up with the entire family in mind. There are all kinds of activities for every age. You can take a dip in the heated pool, enjoy a moonlit hayrack ride, take a romantic walk, explore the mountain side, participate in one of the many tournaments, or just plain relax. Childcare is available at almost any time, so you and your spouse can enjoy some special time alone or with your friends.

Our staff is carefully selected to provide you with the service you thought was a thing of the past, to provide you with the vacation that will build memories you won’t ever want to forget.

Your family will make new friends as well as walk away refreshed. Clydehurst is a great place for the whole family, and a true vacation for everyone. Come to Clydehurst and make it a summer to remember.

Accommodations

Real log cabins and buildings contribute to Clydehurst Christian Ranch’s rustic charm and include a centrally located lodge with foosball and ping-pong tables, and a cozy chapel near the river. Both have stone fireplaces. The lodge also houses Clydehurst Outfitters and the Hunger Hut (our shirt and snack shops), craft room, and “The Front Porch” – our popular coffee shop.

Our modern kitchen/dining hall provides three daily meals, including sack lunches by request if needed for special hikes or family outings. The camp laundromat provides coin-operated machines for your convenience. For trailers or motor homes, 50 amp full hookups are available.
